The gesture was communicated to Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati by Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui to help Lebanon navigate through this challenging period.

“Algeria once again demonstrates its unwavering support for Lebanon. We, the Lebanese, are truly grateful for this act of genuine fraternity. The invaluable assistance provided during this critical time of need for fuel oil to power our nation's electricity plants will always be remembered. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Algeria,” he stated in a message reported by the Lebanese National News Agency (ANI).
