Air Algérie has announced a new direct route between Algiers and Rotterdam, expanding its European network just days after confirming flights to Guangzhou, China.
The national airline revealed on Sunday, August 31, that it will operate direct flights between Algiers Airport and Rotterdam Airport from October 28, 2025, to March 28, 2026. Reservations must be made before September 30.
Tickets are priced from 35,100 DZD for Algiers–Rotterdam and from €256 for Rotterdam–Algiers. “New horizons beckon,” the airline stated on its official Facebook page.
This comes less than a week after Air Algérie announced new services to Guangzhou, complementing its Algiers–Beijing route. The move reflects the company’s strategy to strengthen its international presence, with Europe and Asia at the core of its expansion.
CEO Hamza Benhamouda confirmed earlier this year that growth depends on the arrival of newly ordered Boeing and Airbus aircraft, with first deliveries expected in September 2025. He also highlighted plans for further connections, including Amsterdam.
With these new destinations, Air Algérie positions itself to meet growing passenger demand while modernizing its fleet and broadening its global reach.
