CAF Confirms Procedures for 2025 TotalEnergies Champions League Group Stage Draw

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the official procedures for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League group stage draw, set to take place on Monday, November 3, 2025, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Sixteen clubs that advanced from the second preliminary round will take part in the highly anticipated draw. The teams will be divided into four groups of four (Groups A to D).
According to CAF, seeding for the draw is determined by each club’s performance in interclub competitions over the last five seasons. This system ensures a balanced distribution of teams across the groups.

Pot 1: Al Ahly FC (Egypt), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Espérance Sportive de Tunis (Tunisia), RS Berkane (Morocco)
