China's Ambassador to Algeria Reaffirms Strong Support for Algeria's Growing Diplomatic Role

His Excellency Dong Guangli, the Ambassador of China to Algeria, has reaffirmed Beijing’s unwavering support for Algeria's expanding diplomatic influence, particularly within the UN Security Council, the Arab League, and the African Union, following his credentials presentation to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.


Ambassador Dong Guangli, after presenting his credentials to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, expressed China's strong backing for Algeria’s active role in global affairs. He emphasized, “China stands firmly with Algeria in fully assuming its role in both regional and global affairs.” He committed to advancing Algeria’s contributions to international stability and development.


Dong also spoke of the deep historical and revolutionary ties between the two nations and vowed to work towards the fulfillment of strategic objectives set by both leaderships. He highlighted the importance of strengthening political trust and expanding economic ties, especially in investment, and called for more Chinese investment in Algeria. The ambassador also stressed the significance of increasing cultural and humanitarian exchanges to strengthen the bonds between both peoples.


Reflecting on Algeria’s progress under President Tebboune's leadership, Dong praised the country’s developmental path and expressed his commitment to fostering further cooperation. He envisioned a future where the two nations would work together for mutual benefits and global peace, emphasizing the shared vision of advocating for stability, security, and prosperity worldwide.


Ambassador Dong concluded by reaffirming China and Algeria’s shared commitment to promoting global peace and prosperity, noting, “Together, we will strive for strategic complementarity and shared progress, ensuring lasting benefits for both our peoples.”
