Ambassador Dong Guangli, after presenting his credentials to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, expressed China's strong backing for Algeria’s active role in global affairs. He emphasized, “China stands firmly with Algeria in fully assuming its role in both regional and global affairs.” He committed to advancing Algeria’s contributions to international stability and development.
Dong also spoke of the deep historical and revolutionary ties between the two nations and vowed to work towards the fulfillment of strategic objectives set by both leaderships. He highlighted the importance of strengthening political trust and expanding economic ties, especially in investment, and called for more Chinese investment in Algeria.
