Algiers Security Services Arrest 22 Supporters for Disturbing Public Order During Algerian League Match

On Wednesday, Algiers security services announced the arrest of 22 supporters following disturbances during the match between Mouloudia (MCA) and Chabab Belouizdad (CRB) at the 5th of July Stadium. The match was part of the tenth round of the Algerian League.
Charges Against the Arrested Supporters
According to the statement, the arrested individuals face misdemeanour charges, including violent assault on public force members while they were performing their duties, and deliberate destruction of state property.
Out of the 22 supporters, 10 have been placed in pre-trial detention, while 12 others have been placed under judicial supervision as the investigation continues.
