ADA The Algerian Motorway Company Van ManagingTraffic

The Algerian Motorways Company (ADA) has announced upcoming traffic diversions for vehicles traveling toward Algiers as part of ongoing construction at two key payment stations: the Khemis El Khechna (Boumerdes) and Blida expressway stations. This initiative is aimed at finalizing works and facilitating the movement of vehicles through newly established toll corridors.

Traffic Diversion Schedule

  • Blida to Algiers: Starting from Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 8 AM, traffic will be diverted to the designated corridors of the new payment station.

  • Khemis El Khechna (Boumerdes) to Algiers: Diversion will commence on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 8 AM.

Temporary Measures for Heavy Vehicles: For a period of ten days, heavy vehicles will be rerouted to National Road No. 05 through the Green Converter to minimize congestion and ensure efficient traffic management during the construction period.

Unchanged Routes Remain Open

The company has confirmed that certain routes will remain unaffected:

  • Mouzaia (Blida) toward Oran

  • Khemis El Khechna (Boumerdes) toward Bouira

Safety Precautions and Regulations

To ensure the safety of motorists, warning signs have been placed ahead of the toll stations, and a maximum speed limit of 30 km/h will be enforced while passing through these areas.

The Algerian Motorways Company apologizes for any inconvenience these necessary works may cause and affirms that all measures have been taken to maintain traffic flow as smoothly as possible.

The company urges drivers to remain vigilant, respect traffic regulations, and comply with posted signs to preserve the safety of all highway users.
